Is it time for bloggers to enforce manners? Two influential Web pioneers think so. Tim O'Reilly, a technology publisher and Internet conference organizer, and Jimmy Wales, founder of the people-powered Wikipedia online encyclopedia, have proposed a voluntary Blogger's Code of Conduct.

The bloggers code of conduct is a joke. Most of the people in the blogging community get along fairly well. Even when you have some that are fighting it is still pretty civil with none of the stalking and other things such as what happened with Kathy Sierra. The people that DO engage in that kind of behavior won't care about any kind of "code" anyway and will just ignore it.

Just another attempt at censorship from people who should know better.
