Agreed, Doc. R.I.P. Mr. Armstrong.
Few men who have lived knowing that they will be remembered for thousands of years to come. But Neil Armstrong was one of those.
Jim... Neil Armstrong deserves 100 threads, not just two.
He deserves a burial fit for a true hero. The kind that our grandkids will remember.
He's the kind of American I want the kids to aspire to be... an American hero and a citizen of the world.
R.I.P. Moonwalker
R.I.P Neil, I met you once and will never forget it.
rest in peace neil...
R.I.P., Neil.
I'll always remember that day in '69 ....
He had a good innings... 82 years long, and achieved so many things we can only dream of, much less do. Not only was he the first to walk on the moon, he survived over 70 flying missions over Nth Korea during the Korean War, also an amazing feat in itself. Mr Neil Armstrong became a teacher after retiring from NASA in 1971, and served on the boards of several companies [Lear Jet, just to name one], so he was more than a man of action but was a great servant to many throughout his years.
More to the point, Neil Armstrong was a modest and moral man, and when he discovered that people were selling his autographs for large sums of money he stopped signed them to put an end to the profiteering from his name. Good on him for being a man of conscience and conviction.
RIP Mr. Neil Armstrong, your amazing life will be celebrated for centuries to come.
R.I.P Neil!
Giz, I love you right now....
Eewwww....did I really type that? Now I'll have to go wash my KB with soap!!
He was a legend in his own time. Like so many brave explorers before him, his name is stamped on mankind forever.
one of those occassions when you'll always remember where you were.... an iconic day....
I suppose he knows all the answers to the universe now...
RIP Neil.....
